This was a commission to provide a portrait of the Dalai Lama for use to promote a celebration of collaborating cultural institutions concurent with His Holiness’s visit to Vancouver. It ended up on various materials; posters, pins, brochures, banners, websites, etc. The portrait was approved by HH offices in New York for reproduction.
This illustration was for a series of conceptual renderings for a proposed touring exhibit of artifacts from the Vatican Library collection. The exhibit was to be entitled “Gloria”.
