This is a preview of another new piece of mine from the upcoming show Pencil on Paper at the Elliot Louis Gallery.
It is 8″ x 10″ and its titled: “Fox/Inari” and is based on a sculpture at the Fushimi Inari shrine in Kyoto. In fact all of the drawings I’m contributing to this show are from a trip earlier this year in and around Kyoto.
The group show is titled Pencil on Paper curated by Lynn Ruscheinsky as part of Vancouver’s upcoming city-wide Drawn Festival.
The show at the Elliot Louis Gallery runs from July 18 to August 8 with the opening reception on Tuesday, July 21 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. I hope to see you there!
