Here is another illustration from the Teti’Aroa series featuring an aerial view of five of the Tahitian atoll’s islands. Onetahi is in the foreground. The inspiration for this was a hand tinted engraving.
The illustration was created to be viewed at various degrees of magnification. On the project’s website the overall view, as seen here, will be zoomed in on to reveal details of the beaches and coral coastline.
