Wow it’s been a busy few weeks, it’s taken me a while to find the time for this post!
A few recent projects have reminded me how much I enjoy working on illo jobs that allow me to design and hand illustrate type. It’s nice to see those 3 years of Typography at art school didn’t go to waste!
Composing the illustration and the typography simultaneously produces a very cohesive result. Usually I layout and customize the type in Adobe Illustrator for approval and then hand render it on a separate layer in the final Photoshop file. I’ll have more samples of this to post in the new year.
